Our project
The title of the project is:''Mathematics does not know the borders - similarities and differences in learning and teaching of mathematics.''
The project involves students beetwen 9-16 years and teachers of different subject. The project is connected with Maths but we will connect different school subjects.
Our main purpose is to take advantage for our students. Throught the planned tasks and the common lessons, teachers will compare methods of teaching and similarities and differences in learning and teaching of Mathematics. Then teachers will write a book:''Mathematics does not know the borders.'' which will be the main product of the project. Apart from we will record a tape CD.
We will promote modern tools Web 2.0 and the computer programmes: Geogebra, Hot Potatoes...We will cooperate with Association of Mathematics Teachers in Poland and Departments of Geogebra in Warsaw.
We want to create brochure of the materials Geogebra which students will do.
Apart from we will organize and promote mathematical events: Happy Pi Day or European Researcher`s Night. We want to include parents and the local enviroment in our project.
We do not forget about traditional methods of work. We want to make some activities about Origami or Mathematical Christmas Cards. We planned common competitions for students.
All above activities will lead to develop skills of students and to motivate them to learn science.
